Dr. Joseph Bannon, CEO and Founder of Bannon Institute of The Arts is a retired government special agent and intelligence officer with the Criminal Intelligence Bureau - Anti Terrorist Unit of the Department of Justice / Office of the Attorney General. He is a former Federal Agent assigned to both the DEA as a narcotics agent, and U.S. Marshals Service on “America’s Most Wanted” Fugitive Apprehension Team out of Los Angeles. As a task force agent counterpart, he was assigned to the United States Secret Service Presidential Protection Detail, the Protective Intelligence Division, the FBI Witness Protection Program, and U.S. Naval Intelligence.
The Bannon Institute is a compilation of Dr. Bannon’s professional career as a lifelong martial artist; healing and counseling arts practitioner; special operations and protective arts practitioner and instructor; member of both a government SWAT and police counter sniper team. Military, paramilitary, private military contractor, and specialized law enforcement combat and intelligence operative instructor; Hollywood technical advisor; and a board certified police chaplain.
